About Us

Initially the Institute was started for the extension of National & Foreign Languages in 1980, which was started by Bhilai Education and Cultural Council. This Institute was inaugurated by Hon'ble Prof. K. M. Chandi, Governor of M.P. on 19th August 1986 Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Motilal Vora Presided the inaugural function. Since then the Bhilai Educational & Cultural Council, Bhilai Nagar has tried to fulfill the need for nontechnical graduates of the Bhilai Township which is popular for Asia's biggest Steel Plant, the Council realize the need of a professional course for which the Master of Arts in Social Work was started in 1991, duly recognized by Higher Education Department of M.P. and affiliated to Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University Raipur.
